Erewash Jobs Fair Announced

Tuesday, 11 June, 2013

Last year I organised my first jobs fair.  This year I am doing another on the 12th September 2013.  We had over 1,000 people through the door on my first attempt, so I have listened to your feedback and have arranged a bigger venue for this year.  The jobs fair will take place between 1pm and 7pm at West Park Leisure Centre, to enable all to attend.  It certainly is no small task to organise such an event but, I feel that it is really important to try and bring oportunities to us.  This year, every household (over 40,000) are receiving a leaflet allowing half price travel to the event.

I would like to ask anyone who could deliver some leaflets to make contact: just an hour of your time could make such a difference.  Equally, if you are a business and you have places to fill, or will have in the future, please download and return the pro-forma at the bottom of this page and I will add you to our exhibitors. You can do this by contacting my office manager, Allison Maguire on 0115 9722419.

I am hoping, as last year, to organise seminars for job seekers, would-be apprentices, people wanting business advice on setting up a business and business funding advice.  If you would like to receive updates on the event, please register to receive my electronic newsletter from the home page.
